Islam seeks to replace democracy and the Western legal-system with Sharia, which reduces non-Muslims/infidels to second-class citizens (allowing them to be enslaved, exploited and dominated … forcing infidels to pay a protection-fee known as Jizya and reserving all important positions for Muslims and ARAB MUSLIMS in particular). This poses a huge problem, for people who are motivated by a desire to acquire slaves and exploit infidels are not likely to be deterred by the fact that the infidels seem to have converted to Islam. All they would need to do in order to continue doing what Muslims have been doing since the 7th century, would be to convince themselves that white Muslims, for instance, are pretending to have converted and will someday show their true colors.
Consequently, if Muslim’s are going to claim that Islamic violence stems from American aggression/destabilization, it is incumbent on them to convince us that there was a time in which Islam treated non-Muslims as equals and/or took the lead in the war against those who seek to deny us our Human Rights.
